Same as more known professional solutions, PhotoScape X supports almost every image formats that are used today (from RAW files to more commonly used JPEG, PNG, and animated GIFs). It includes every possible tool that will help you during your daily work – from editing, adding effects, optimizing, organizing, to printing and sharing. While this is not a tool that can be used professionally for painting, it holds a tremendous amount of features and services that can help users modify existing images the way they want it to. This includes tools that are suited both for novices (simple image viewers, converter, easy way to stitch few images together or create animated GIFs, batch editor, screen capture tool…) and technically versed users who can use its powerful image editor to easily access more demanding tools for image editing. Some examples, using poor photos and varying amounts of Photoscape editing applied by me, a neophyte: If you are someone who is already skilled at Photoscape, take over this thread, please. Either post a question here about the program, answer a question that's been asked, or post a how-to on some aspect of the program. I propose that in this particular thread, rather than starting with an overview and developing the thread through questions and answers, we learn by doing. So far, I haven't encountered another program that's so easy to grasp.

However, a free program with this many functions deserves some notice. I can't give a tutorial for this program, as I'm only just learning to use it.
